What is the significance of cleaning concrete and sealing it? Well, for one, it makes the surface look clean and new. Secondly, it prevents moisture from seeping into the concrete. That is very important during the winter months when moisture freezes and the expansion of frozen water expands and can cause concrete to crack.
Sealants come in various materials and various grades. The products with the highest sheen have the most protection and are the strongest and most visually appealing and they generally are petroleum-based.
The other choice is to use an Acrylic sealant. Acrylics seal the pores of the cement very well. The finish looks duller in appearance.
This is a small driveway with an Aggregate Concrete finish. You can see me cleaning the concrete in the first picture using a swirling-headed Concrete-cleaning tip, or a Turbo Tip. In the subsequent pictures, I have already cleaned the driveway. I am applying the sealant with a brush and roller. I use a thick roller pad, more than a 1-inch nap thickness, and I roll the product out. The brush is mostly for applying sealant where the drive meets the garage concrete.
This product should last three years in a moderate Climate.

Finally the rest of the roof has been constructed but is yet to have tiles laid . This will be done this week. Finally the 6 meter bi fold doors are going in tomorrow and the front door on Wednesday.black vinyl fence
